Am/C Frame 5
Is this what you discovered?
- We first play the scale academically, in P2, using finger-fret assignments. Then play it with just 1’s & 3’s. And, try 1’s & 4’s only. Then, mix 1’s, 3’s, 4’s – find out what feels right to you. Run the scale up and down with the metronome. Try 8ths notes with metronome at 100, and use another rhythm figure → – [1-e-and- ].
- Spend 5 minutes jamming/improvising/experimenting. Use just these tones of frame 5, as a limit. No audio. Then, play to audio → any audio/song in C or Am, using frame 3 as a limit.
- Build Chords → create every possible combination of chords with just frame 5, including double and triple-stops. We do have a complete C Major chord [A Form: x-3-5-5-5-x frets]. And, a complete Am [G Form: 5-x-2-5-x-x].
