12 Stone Row
by j F on Jan.05, 2010, under Music
2009 was the 10 year anniversary of my only fingerstyle release. I’ve recorded roughly 20 others since 12. And, I’ve only recently been re-entering the fingerstyle arena. No more fake nails! All natural. There is an extra track in this collection. It’s the title track not included on the record [what I consider my personal best]. Recorded by Joe Didot. David Baranyk helped in the mix.

Or listen by tune:
happy dance – the only song i can still play from this record. also, was interpreted on piano by aaron urbanski. check it out.resonant chamber – any type.
reflective surface – I consider tracks 2 & 3 as a pair. aaron urbanski also created a piano version of this tune. check it out.
acoustic nerve – the only flawless take on this record.
angle of the fire – infinite possibilities. all directions.
wind off water – the pull strum!
discord's meadow – originally titled 12 stone row. took it’s name from the bonus track – 12 stone row – below. Swapped them out.
light song – a little sloppy for my taste.
a penny's thought – a tiny lullaby.
harp's great tear – a play on tear: the harp emitting a large tear, a tear in whatever is tears.
array – took over 20 starts. [these tracks are single take, no editing]
lenore's lament – first ever fingerstyle tune. only tune not recorded in bunch. originally titled ‘waiting’. recorded in denver, co, 1995.
12 stone row- title track not included on the the cd. originally titled ‘discord’s meadow’ – see above. i consider this my apm. this is un-out-doable for my skillset moving into future nows.
